Three experts in social and public policies of Hong Kong are to take a critical review of the newly announced 2008-09 Budget at a forum organised by the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of The University of Hong Kong (HKU) next Monday (March 3).

They will particularly discuss on ways to make good use of the surplus to further enhance Hong Kong to be a modern and passionate World City, against the background of rising number of households living under poverty. Among others, the major areas to be covered by the speakers at the forum will be medical and health care, labour, welfare and education.
